Help me prevent my electricity from being disconnected
I work full-time, but an expected commission payment was delayed and I’m now $608 short on my electric bill. My electricity is scheduled for disconnection September 15 and I’m trying everything I can to cover the balance in time.

I’m asking for help with an unexpected financial emergency. I work full-time in sales and had been budgeting around commission income that I expected to receive this week. Unfortunately, that payment did not arrive when expected, and it left me $608 short on my electric bill. My electricity is scheduled to be disconnected september 15 unless I can pay the $608 minimum required to stop it. If the service is disconnected, the amount required to restore it becomes significantly higher. I’m actively trying to make up the difference myself and have applied for gig work so I can earn additional income immediately. I’m not expecting one person to solve the entire problem—anything anyone is willing to contribute toward the $608 would genuinely help.
