Help Me Build a Sustainable Digital Business My name is Joseph, and one month ago I started a small business near Maasai Mara university in Kenya, specializing in photocopying, printing, and stationery sales, alongside digital services like scanning, typing, CV preparation, document formatting, and online applications. I want to build something that serves my community daily while creating a stable income for myself, and eventually, jobs for other young people. The challenge As a brand-new startup, I began with very limited equipment and working capital. I'm currently working with a basic photocopier and printer that already struggle to keep up with demand, and a stationery stock too small to meet what customers need — especially during busy periods like exam season and application deadlines. Every breakdown or stockout means turning customers away in these critical early months, when building trust and reliability matters most.
