HELP ME ESTABLISH A SUSTAINABLE CYBER CAFE BUSINESS
I'm Joseph, a young entrepreneur running a one-month-old photocopy, printing, and stationery business near a university in Kenya. Despite strong early demand from students, I'm limited by basic equipment and low stock.

Help Me Build a Sustainable Digital Business My name is Joseph, and one month ago I started a small business near Maasai Mara university in Kenya, specializing in photocopying, printing, and stationery sales, alongside digital services like scanning, typing, CV preparation, document formatting, and online applications. What led me here I started this business because I saw a real gap: students needed fast, affordable access to photocopying, printing, and everyday stationery, but many existing options nearby were either too expensive, too slow, or unreliable. Even in this first month, I've seen steady demand from students and the surrounding community — which has confirmed there's a real need here. I want to build something that serves my community daily while creating a stable income for myself, and eventually, jobs for other young people. The challenge As a brand-new startup, I began with very limited equipment and working capital. I'm currently working with a basic photocopier and printer that already struggle to keep up with demand, and a stationery stock too small to meet what customers need — especially during busy periods like exam season and application deadlines. Every breakdown or stockout means turning customers away in these critical early months, when building trust and reliability matters most. What your support will cover A reliable, high-capacity photocopier and printer Additional computers to reduce wait times for digital services Binding and laminating equipment to expand my offerings Stationery stock (paper, pens, files, exercise books, and other essentials students need daily) Improved internet infrastructure for faster service Why this matters I believe in building self-reliance, not dependency. A one-time contribution toward equipment, stock, and capital in these early months could be the difference between this business surviving its first year and struggling to keep its doors open. It helps every student who needs a document photocopied for class, a CV printed for a job application, or a notebook for the new term. As the business grows, I hope to hire and train other young people, multiplying the impact of this support. How you can help Any contribution — big or small — moves me closer to this goal. If you're not able to give financially, sharing my story with others would mean just as much. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for believing in small businesses that build lasting change.
